LION SHIPPING CONTAINERS — SHIPPING POLICY

At Lion Shipping Containers, we provide fast, reliable, and secure delivery of shipping containers across the United States. This Shipping Policy explains how delivery works, the options available, and what customers should expect when ordering containers from us.

1. Nationwide Delivery Coverage

We proudly deliver shipping containers to:

  • All 50 U.S. states

  • Commercial and residential locations

  • Farms, warehouses, terminals, ports, and construction sites

Remote or restricted-access areas may require special arrangements.

2. Delivery Methods

Depending on your location and container type, delivery is completed using one of the following methods:

2.1 Tilt-Bed (Rollback) Truck Delivery

Our most commonly used method.
The truck tilts, and the container slides off directly onto the ground.
Best for:

  • Residential deliveries

  • Standard placement

  • Sites without heavy equipment

2.2 Flatbed Truck Delivery

Flatbeds are more cost-effective for long-distance hauls.
Requires on-site equipment (forklift or crane) to unload.
Best for:

  • Commercial sites

  • Long-distance deliveries

  • Customers who have offloading equipment

2.3 Crane Truck Delivery

Used when the container must be lifted over obstacles or placed in tight spaces.
Best for:

  • Difficult access areas

  • Urban locations

  • Elevated or limited placement spots

3. Delivery Timeframe

Standard delivery time is:

  • 3 to 5 business days for most U.S. locations

  • 7 to 14 days for remote states (Alaska, Hawaii, rural areas)

Expedited shipping options may be available upon request.

We will notify customers with:

  • Estimated delivery date

  • Driver contact information

  • Delivery window (usually 3–5 hours)

4. Customer Responsibilities Before Delivery

To ensure smooth delivery, customers must:

4.1 Prepare the Delivery Site

Your placement area should:

  • Be level and firm (gravel, concrete, asphalt, compacted soil)

  • Have enough space for the truck to enter, turn, and unload

  • Be free of debris, vehicles, or obstructions

  • Have proper clearance (minimum 100 ft for trucks)

4.2 Ensure Accessibility

You must confirm whether:

  • The truck can access your location

  • There are height restrictions (trees, power lines, bridges)

  • The ground can support heavy equipment

  • Weather conditions allow access (mud, snow, etc.)

If your location is difficult to access, our team can help evaluate alternatives.

5. Shipping Costs

We charge a flat-rate shipping fee of $400 per container, regardless of your location within the continental U.S.

There are no hidden charges or variable freight quotes. This flat fee includes:

  • Route planning and freight coordination
  • Access to local or regional transport partners
  • Direct delivery to your provided address
  • Communication of an accurate ETA

Please note: If you are ordering multiple containers, a separate delivery fee may apply for each unit unless consolidated delivery is arranged.

6. Delivery Instructions & Placement

Our delivery team will:

  • Contact you before arrival

  • Discuss exact placement of the container

  • Position the unit safely and professionally

  • Make adjustments when possible

Important:
Once the container touches the ground and the truck leaves, placement adjustments may require extra fees.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

A delivery attempt may fail if:

  • The site is not accessible

  • No one is available to receive the delivery (if required)

  • The ground is unsafe or unsuitable

  • Incorrect address information was provided

In such cases:

  • redelivery fee will apply

  • Customers may need to schedule a new date

Please ensure readiness to avoid additional costs.

8. Pickup Option

Customers who prefer to arrange their own transport may pick up containers from our depot by appointment only.

Requirements:

  • Proper equipment to load safely

  • Driver ID and order confirmation

  • Commercial vehicle access clearance

9. International Shipping

While we focus primarily on U.S. deliveries, we can arrange international shipments to select regions.
